Contract Field Trials
OUR CONTRACT FIELD TRIALS SERVICE
Clients of IBR-Ltd benefit from the flexibility and personal service afforded by a small/ medium sized agency. Additionally, we are able to pass on the benefits of reduced overheads in the form of very competitive rates for our clients. Protocols are managed, applied, assessed and reported by senior professionals rather than being delegated to junior staff or even students thereby ensuring added value on every project.
So please do not hesitate to contact us for a free no obligation quotation and we will be very pleased to respond accordingly.
EFFICACY / SELECTIVITY
Trials can be designed with product registration in mind, or for field scale demonstrations. With experienced professionals working within a given region, the identification of trial site locations to meet the objective of a protocol e.g. a field with a known infestation or a specific spectrum of target weeds, is made easier.
HARVESTING YIELD DATA
The availability of modern specialist harvesting equipment enables clients trials to be taken to harvest and yield data captured. In addition, a basic grain analysis service is also offered which will include grain moisture, 1000 grain weight and hectolitre weight measurements.
EXPERIENCE
With over 40 years of combined field trials experience from leading R&D based multi-national agrochemical businesses, our principle agronomists have a wealth of experience to offer clients. A wider associate team providing national coverage extends the experience base to ensure as far as possible client needs are satisfied.
DATA CAPTURE
Whether fully randomised replicated field trials or larger scale demonstration plots, all data is electronically captured in Agricultural Research Manager (ARM), the industry standard. This enables clients to have in-season interim reports on the results from their trials program, in addition to the final report presentation, which can be in a range of formats to suit client requirements.
CROPS
IBR-Ltd’s team will be able to access most crop types from cereals to root crop and even specialist horticultural crops should that be an area of interest.
REGIONS
IBR-Ltd aims to cover the key arable areas of East Anglia, the Midlands, South East and the South West. Where clients require locations beyond those specified, IBR-Ltd will utilise the services of associate businesses to provide the necessary geographic spread. Our objective is to satisfy your needs. Every effort will be made to accommodate the specification of your protocol.
